Leap through time and arrive in the age of the monsters, gods and heroes of ancient Greek drama! Explore Greek stories, myths, and amazing characters in this angstier-than-average drama class.   • Be the Bard High School & Adults Tuesdays (October 24 - November 28), 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM $75 Adult, High School, Writing Published writer and soon-to-be produced playwright Damon Norko will help you become the Bard in this creative writing class focused on developing and submitting works of narrative fiction. The course will be half instructional, focusing on character development, setting, descriptions, theme, technique and semantics, and half workshop, where students can get feedback and guidance on their works-in-progress. Goals for the 6-week course will be to write, revise, and ultimately publish a poem, story, or play. A final event will celebrate the accomplishments of the students. Register
  • Circus 101 1st-5th Graders Thursday November 2 & 9, 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM $50 Elementary, Movement Take the center ring and be a circus star! Mark Lohr has traveled the world performing his circus skills from the Kennedy Center to Shanghai, China. In this fun, active, and fast-paced workshop you will learn new skills like juggling, stilt walking, clowning and more! Younger siblings can take Sprouting Melodies at 10am across the hall. Register
  • Drama Games and Improv with InterAct Story Theatre 6th-8th Graders Thursdays, 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM $125 Middle, Theatre, Writing & Performing InterAct Story Theatre challenges you to a game of improv! Students will explore character and scene work as they engage in a program designed to promote concentration, teamwork, cooperative learning, critical thinking and creative problem solving. The program will include an optional showcase of original scenes developed from students' improvisational work. Register
  • Equinox Dance: Ballet Adults Mondays, 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM $150 Adult, Movement Improve endurance, strength, coordination, and flexibility while gaining a firm foundation of balance, posture, and grace in this adult ballet class taught by professional dancer Bria Comer. Each class will consist of ballet barre exercises, center and traveling work, and learning a dance to apply the skills learned in technique work. This class is suitable for beginning-intermediate women and men. Register
  • Frederick Salsa Adults Tuesdays, 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM $150 Adult, Movement Learn the basics of salsa dancing; no previous experience is needed for this class. Learn the origins of salsa music and dance, and see why it has spread worldwide. Learn the basics as well as some turns and patterns. A simple choreographed routine will be taught during the final classes. Latin dance shoes are not required for the class, however, please use smooth soled-shoes. Register

  • Puppets for Film Animation 6th-8th Graders Thursdays, 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM $125 Middle, Theatre, Multimedia Combining sculpture, stop motion animation, live recording, and puppetry, students will learn how to create a multimedia performance in the style of the Muppets Show. Chris Heady, the head puppeteer for the Hershey Company, will teach students to design, build, and perform with innovative puppets that can be used in a multitude of multimedia projects. Register

This class will bring them to life! Students will explore the worlds, language, and duels of the Bard.
