  • Intro to Violin K-2nd K-2nd Graders Saturday, January 13 OR February 24, 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM Free Elementary, Music Your child will experience the joy of making their own music when they participate in this class. Each child will learn to play a piece on the violin during this 45 minute class. They will also get to see a performance by students from the Maryland Talent Education Center. Instruments are provided. Class size is limited to 10 students and a parent must attend with their child. Although this is a free event, you must register to reserve a spot. Register

  • Intro to Voice and Speech High School & Adults Saturday, February 10, 10:00 am - 1:30 pm $55 High School, Adults, Theatre Led by master teacher Nancy Krebs, this three-hour sensory-based workshop is an introduction to the (Arthur) Lessac Kinesensic Training—concentrating on breathing, posture, the importance and benefits of the consonants in speech and song, focusing the voice for more power without pain, and strategies for developing more awareness of a flexible and expressive physical presence onstage and off. Participants should wear comfortable clothing and bring a yoga mat or blanket for body work. Register

  • Riotous Youth! 6th - 12th Graders Saturdays (March 10 - May 19), 10:00 am - 4:00 pm $400 Middle, High School, Theatre Riotous Youth uses Shakespeare's language as a vehicle for young artists' self-discovery. This semester's production is A Midsummer Night's Dream. The 10-week intensive will conclude with a three-show performance weekend on May 18 & 19th. Register

Join Noteable Progressions’ certified music therapist, Darcy O’Daniel for this distinctly different, development-based approach to music classes. Each Sprouting Melodies class includes active music making designed to elicit different responses from children based on their cognitive, social, and physical skills.
